That's nothing. I have a $300 UPI case on a lego set!! Turns out a parent contacted me and said "I am Aramis' parent. He can't fund this item. Did you ship yet? I am still trying to track him down." ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! I was really counting on that money!
Ebay wants to be more like Amazon, but on Amazon you don't get a grace period to pay. There should be some kind of box that a customer has to check off that says, "I agree that if I don't pay for this item within 3 days, it will be re-listed and I will have a strike against me."
I have had several offers that I have accepted and they never paid. I don't think people realize that when they offer an ammount if it gets accepted, then they bought it. Just this morning I woke up to a buyer asking me to cancel because they didn't read the listing first:( I feel your pain.

Aw man. That DOES stink!
DeleteHow frustrating! I had two cases close yesterday, and another today. Booo.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand are the low amount UPI cases. I had one for $5.00 once. Why do people bother buying something if they aren't going to pay.
ReplyDeleteI used to get them a LOT on Meltonian shoe cream purchases. $2.50. Really? You can't just pay the $2.50? Ugh.

ReplyDeleteThis is probably the most frustrating part of selling on Ebay via auction...the slow and some times unpaid items. Hang in there. Everyone has them.
ReplyDeleteThis wasn't even an auction. It was a buy it now that I accepted an offer on because I needed the money. Lol
